Tired of the never-ending "What’s for dinner tonight?!"
Easy fix:
1.- Download Family Meal Planner
2.- Plan your meals for the next 7/15 days
3.- Share the plan with your partner/roommate/babysitter/grandparents... so everyone knows what’s on the menu
4.- … I’d suggest doing the grocery shopping—otherwise, step 5 might not work so well...
5.- Done! When you wake up the next day, no more thinking about meals. Just open FMP, check what’s on the plan… and start cooking!
BONUS: If the next day you come home and your partner says, "I didn’t know what to make… so I didn’t start cooking anything…" — no worries! Just help them accept your FMP invitation, and they’ll see the shared plan!
We get it… not everything is perfect.
Let’s go through the steps for those picky about details:
1.- DOWNLOAD
1.1.- If you’re reading this in the App Store… just hit download!
2.- PLAN
2.1.- Get inspired by the recipe library in the app. No need to get fancy—stick to the basics.
2.2.- Remember the main food groups: Vegetables, Grains, Legumes, Meats... otherwise, you’ll end up eating the same thing over and over! If you tell your mom you made lentils, she might even shed a tear of joy.
2.3.- Got your own secret recipes, like *Paella Sandwich*? (Okay, maybe not that one…) Add them in! The app will save them for future planning.
2.4.- No need to reinvent the wheel daily. With 30-40 different meals, you can go 2-3 weeks without repeating. Check what you made a couple of weeks ago for inspiration—easy!
3.- SHARE
3.1.- You’ll need to sign up for FMP—because this is serious business! Not quite a mortgage, but still a big commitment. You’re planning meals TOGETHER!
3.2.- Send the invite link via your favorite chat app or social media.
3.3.- Once they accept, you’ll both see the same plan. But watch out—this is where the *real* challenges begin. You add steak, they want veggies… and if one of you isn’t paying attention, swaps might happen! Just so you know—we’re not responsible for meal-related disputes!
3.4.- At some point, the app will ask for permission to send notifications. Say YES! Why? Because when *someone* swaps your steak for a salad… you’ll want to know ASAP!
4.- GROCERIES
We’d love to do your shopping… but our magic has its limits.
5.- TIME TO COOK!
5.1.- Enjoy the peace of mind—no more *thinking*, just cooking! (Which, by the way, can be very relaxing.)
5.2.- Savor the moment… because once your plan runs out, you’ll be back at step 2… and realize just how happy this made you for a whole week (or two!).
